Ian McCulloch est un de ces chanteurs à l'ego dilaté comme l'Angleterre savait en produire dans les années 80/90 (je pense notamment à Ian Brown des Stone Roses, et à Liam Gallagher d'Oasis).

Lui et son groupe, Echo and the Bunnymen se produisaient à TINALS, ce qui m'a redonné envie en rentrant de réécouter leur album de 1997, Evergreen, dont j'extrais aujourd'hui ces paroles.

Le saviez-tu : Après avoir quitté Echo and the Bunnymen en 1988, et entamé une carrière solo, Ian McCulloch a enregistré un album avec Johnny Marr (the Smiths). Intitulé "Touch Down", il aurait dû paraître en 1994... avant d'être retardé par le label... puis que les bandes "disparaissent".
